MESSAGES FROM 507th ARW WING COMMANDER

A message from your commander,

As we continue to press on, I am amazed by the continued understanding and resiliency of the members of our wing.

It was an incredibly tough choice deciding to postpone the April and May UTAs. This decision was not made lightly. We weighed the pros and cons and at the end of the day the health and safety of our Airmen was paramount. Bringing in hundreds of our members from outside the local area presented an unnecessary risk for all Okies and their families and the community at large. Our mission and our readiness cannot fail. Our Airmen are our most important asset.

Being resilient during these trying times is easier said than done. Resiliency has been an Air Force priority for many years. Now is the time to use your training and the resources available to you to maintain your resiliency. Reach out to your friends, your family, the chaplains, the Airman and Family Readiness Center; they are all ready to help you in any way they can to see you to the other side of this crisis.

This is the time to stay connected with your fellow Reservists. Reach out to your coworkers and your supervision. Stay up to date on base changes and wing updates. Stay informed, stay safe, and stay resilient.

-Col Miles Heaslip
