Ring the Bell Opportunity

The Tinker Shirts need you for one hour time slots at the Shoppette right

here off reserve road - We work with a private organization called Operation

WARMHEART.  It is an organization that helps the Airmen in need on Tinker

AFB.  We are doing a fundraiser that requires a LOT of people to RING THE

BELL.  I'm attaching the schedule and requesting volunteers to help us, with

supervisory approval. Our 137th team will help fill some of the slots as

well, feel free if 2 want to volunteer for the same times.

We have the shoppette here close to the campus next to the veterinary clinic

on 8 Dec 12-1700 & 15 Dec 12-1700

The Tinker Shirts need volunteers to distribute gifts to Veterans on
Wednesday, Dec. 14th, @1030am. If you are available or

IGI Job Opening

 The 507 ARW Inspector General of Inspections (IGI) is seeking a Qualified Traditional Reservist (TR) to administer the IG Commander’s Inspection Program (CCIP)

under the leadership of the Director of Inspections. Through inspections and exercises, this position supports the unit/installation commander in the development, review

and full assessment of organization status as it relates to readiness.

The organizational goals or objectives of this position are to provide senior leadership advice on effective and economical management of overall inspection

and self-assessment practices and provide advice, training, and support to serviced organizations.

POSITION: IG Inspections Specialist

DUTIES:

  • Oversee and conduct inspections and exercises at the wing level
  • Train and indoctrinate the Wing Inspection Team (WIT)
  • Brief senior wing leadership on upcoming events and inspection/exercise results
  • MICT and IGEMS Administrator to manage the wing Air Force Inspection System (AFIS)
  • Reviews, and fully implements higher-headquarters regulations and executes supplementary unit/installation inspection guidance

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Engaged, approachable, proactive, trustworthy, team oriented, caring and ambitious!
  • Strong communication skills are a plus (public speaking is a requirement)
  • An airmen who takes pride in their work and wants to improve the organization

DISQUALIFICATIONS: UIFs (AFI directed)
