This is our first wing photo since 2014, so please help us ensure it is a success.

Uniform: OCP or flight suit with approved t-shirt (Tan 499)
No sunglasses, no hats or cold weather gear will be worn in the photo. Please remove your outer gear prior to falling in.
Mandatory Formation: 1st Sgts will lead and form up the elements for their respective groups/medical squadron.
MSG will form up first since they are the largest, then MXG, then OG, then wing staff and MDS.
For reference, in 2014, MSG had 20 airmen in each rank (side by side) with 13 Airmen in each file (one behind the other) ; OG had 14 ranks and 7 in a file; MXG had 15 ranks and 10 in a file; Medical had 7 ranks and 8 in a file.

Upcoming Opportunities Within the Wing

Wing Yellow Ribbon Rep position

  • Opening within the next month, we are in search of a self-starting, organized and flexible TSgt/MSgt to fill the position (SSgt will be considered on a case-by-case basis). The Yellow Ribbon Representative coordinates with the AFR Yellow Ribbon Office, the Wing IDS and other Wing resources to advise, manage, and assist in ensuring military service members and their families have optimal continuum of care through the deployment cycle (Pre-, During-, and Post-deployment) in accordance with the Department of Defense Yellow Ribbon Program DoDI 134.28.  The minimum length of tour/order is 18 months but could be approved up to three years.
     
  • Yellow Ribbon Reps are expected to help promote and bring awareness of the Yellow Ribbon program by meeting with Airmen and Leadership alike around the Wing.  The primary responsibility will be to track eligibility, communicate upcoming events, track participation, coordinate orders, travel and support voucher submission.  Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, ARROW-R and DTS, have no negative quality indicators, and be current on all readiness items.  Yellow Ribbon Reps are expected to attend Yellow Ribbon events (TDY) where they will be assigned various tasks to include Liaison, Budget, Registration, and Agenda as directed by HQ AFRC Yellow Ribbon Leadership.

D&TF Program Manager

  • Many of you have seen and assisted our Development and Training Flight (D&TF).  The program is designed to prepare our new enlistees for BMT with basic information such as rank structure, dress and appearance, military etiquette, and physical fitness before they ship to BMT.  The program aims to ensure that we gain quality Airman in the Air Force Reserve.
     
  • We are looking for a highly motivated Airmen in the rank of SSgt to TSgt (SrA and MSgt will be considered on a case-by-case basis).  This is an awesome opportunity for our unit members to gain leadership experience, to mentor, and to be a part of developing our Airmen.  As of right now, your initial Wing Coordinator tour of active duty would consist of 1 year up to 3 years. Supervisors, if you have a troop that would be an asset to the D&TF, please talk to them about this opportunity.
     
  • Development and Training Flight Mission: To mentally and physically prepare Air Force Reserve members for the transition from civilian to military life through academic and fitness based awareness programs ensuring success at AETC environments and beyond.

IGI Job Opening

 The 507 ARW Inspector General of Inspections (IGI) is seeking a Qualified Traditional Reservist (TR) to administer the IG Commander’s Inspection Program (CCIP)

under the leadership of the Director of Inspections. Through inspections and exercises, this position supports the unit/installation commander in the development, review

and full assessment of organization status as it relates to readiness.

The organizational goals or objectives of this position are to provide senior leadership advice on effective and economical management of overall inspection

and self-assessment practices and provide advice, training, and support to serviced organizations.

POSITION: IG Inspections Specialist

DUTIES:

  • Oversee and conduct inspections and exercises at the wing level
  • Train and indoctrinate the Wing Inspection Team (WIT)
  • Brief senior wing leadership on upcoming events and inspection/exercise results
  • MICT and IGEMS Administrator to manage the wing Air Force Inspection System (AFIS)
  • Reviews, and fully implements higher-headquarters regulations and executes supplementary unit/installation inspection guidance

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Engaged, approachable, proactive, trustworthy, team oriented, caring and ambitious!
  • Strong communication skills are a plus (public speaking is a requirement)
  • An airmen who takes pride in their work and wants to improve the organization
