Renovation of Vanwey dining facility extended; Reserve January UTA menu announced

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – Tinker Air Force Base Reservists will continue to receive their meals in Café 3001 and Golden Corral, until the renovation of the Vanwey Dining Facility is complete.

The dining facility is slated to reopen in late spring 2020, according to 72nd Force Support Squadron Deputy Director, Maj. Amanda Henry.

Café 3001, located at on the south end of the Bldg. 3001, will serve breakfast and lunch to Reservists on Saturdays and Sundays of UTAs.

Golden Corral, located at 1501 S. Sooner Rd. in Del City, will serve dinner to Reservists only on Saturday of UTAs. Dinner will not be provided on Sunday of UTAs.

Breakfast is served between 6:00-7:30 a.m., lunch is served between 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and dinner is served from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Dinner Buffet - 4:30-6:30 p.m., NEW LOCATION: Golden Corral,  1501 S. Sooner Road, Del City

 

Sunday

Breakfast - 6:00 – 7:30 a.m. Café 3001, Bldg 3001, Door A

Lunch - 11:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Café 3001-Bldg 3001, Door A

 

Flight Kitchen

The Vanwey Dining Facility’s Flight Kitchen has temporarily relocated to the north side of Bldg. 5001, the Tinker Airman and Family Readiness Center, in order to continue providing flight meals over the duration of the renovation of the dining facility.
