Security Forces gets new commander

Lt. Col. Richard Ropac, 507th Mission Support Group commander, passes the guidon to Maj. Ricky Martin II, new commander of the 507th Security Forces Squadron, at his assumption of command ceremony Sept. 11, 2016, at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Martin has served in various capacities to include: nuclear security, presidential support, antiterrorism, security forces operations, Iraqi Police transition team and contingency operations. Martin has also worked as a Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer in Salt Lake, Utah. Prior to arriving at Tinker, Martin commanded the 99th Security Forces Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, comprised of 350 military and civilian personnel. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt.
