With construction at the Interstate 40, Air Depot Boulevard and Southeast 29th Street intersection slated to be complete Sunday, two Tinker gates are set to return to their normal operations.

Starting at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Tinker Gate will revert back to being open 24 hours a day, while Eaker Gate will be open between 6 and 8 a.m. weekdays only.
The Tinker Visitor Control Center, Pass and Identification Office located outside the Tinker Gate on Air Depot Boulevard will maintain current operating hours, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Motorists are advised to be aware of the new traffic signals, additional lanes and new traffic patterns on Air Depot Boulevard immediately outside the Tinker Gate.

Rapcon rd. will also be under construction next to the 507 ARW starting Nov. 24, from Reserve Rd. to Patrol Road.  The construction will be in phases so alternate routes will be available. The road closure will be needed to allow the contractor to remove and replace pavement in two phases. The work is expected to be complete June 15.
