TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 507th Air Refueling Wing commander announced March 18 that telework is authorized at the squadron commander’s discretion and the April UTA is canceled due to COVID-19.

“The health and safety of all Okies is our highest priority,” said Col. Miles Heaslip, 507th ARW commander. “For that reason the April UTA, scheduled for April 4-5, is canceled.  Airmen are advised to communicate with squadron and/or group leadership to reschedule and the July UTA will be available as an alternative,” Heaslip said.

Members due to test in March, April and May have now been rescheduled to September, October and November. Fitness testing is scheduled to resume in June. For more details, please see the related stories section for guidance on fitness testing.

Teleworking is authorized and is at your squadron commander’s discretion according to Col. Heaslip. Please see related stories section for guidance on how to start the telework process.
