507th Air Refueling Wing

Senior Airman David Chain, Tech. Sgt. Troy Chaddon, and Staff Sgt. Jacob Ellis conduct inspections on a KC-135 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. All three are members of the Oklahoma Air National Guard's 137th Air Refueling Wing. The 137th ARW is an associate unit to the Air Force Reserve's 507th Air Refueling Wing. The two wings merged, with the 137th ARW becoming an associate wing to the 507th ARW, as a decision from the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process. This new partnership represents the first time for an Air National Guard wing to be associated to an Air Force Reserve wing.
