Chief Long receives Air Force Meritorious Medal

Chief Master Sergeant Tina M. Long, an Air Force Reservist with the 507th Air Refueling Wing, recently received the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal. 

Chief Long, who serves as the 507th ARW Command Chief, distinguished herself for her integral efforts to develop sustaining relationships with Team Tinker active duty organizations and 931st McConnell Chief Groups, located at McConnell AFB, Kansas, as well as her efforts to help stand up the first-of-its kind Air Force Reserve Command and Air National Guard Associate wing through her efforts to integrate senior enlisted leadership. 

She also was a key leadership team member helping the wing prepare for a Security Forces 6-month deployment to Kirkuk Iraq. She was also pivotal in the Secretary of Defense-directed, "Yellow Ribbon" reintegration program ensuring effective redeployment constructs for over 300 battle-worn Airmen.
