507th Air Refuling Wing
Master Sgt. Clifford Cox began his military career in the Army on May 22, 1970, retiring April 11, 2010 with more than 29 years service. He served more than seven years as an Infantry Soldier. From 1978 to 1988 Cox took a break from the military. At that time he returned to the military, only this time it was the Air Force. In August of that year he joined the 507th Tactical Fighter Wing as a weapons system specialist.
When the Wing transitioned to the KC-135 Cox became a metals technician. Lt. Col. Sandra Brooks, left, presided over Cox’s retirement ceremony.
