507th Air Refueling Wing

Master Sergeant Takesha S. Williams, an Air Force reservist assigned to the 507th Air Refueling Wing, was recently awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Sergeant Williams distinguished herself while assigned to the 507th Operations Support Flight. According to her citation, Sergeant Williams impact has been felt throughout the Air Force Reserve Command while supporting numerous deployments including Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. Her dedicated involvement ensured more than 100 aircrew members had access to TRICARE benefits for a period of over 360 days, which positively affected 16 families with unique medical situations and ensured worldwide readiness for Airmen and peace-of-mind for dependants. In addition Sergeant Williams maximized the use of human resources as the senior enlisted advisor for the first-ever base wide Human Resource Development Council initiative.

Master Sergeant Takesha S. Williams, an Air Force Reservist assigned to the 507th Air Refueling Wing, was recently awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
