Lt. Col. Jeffrey D. Milburn is the Commander of the 507th Operations Group and the Director of Operations for the 465th Air Refueling Squadron, 507th Air Refueling Wing, Air Force Reserve, headquartered at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The Group is composed of more than one hundred seventy Air Force Reserve members and are responsible for providing fully trained KC-135 aircrews and mission ready airmen to warfighting commands.
Lt. Col. Milburn graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Studies. He has served in various operational, combat and training assignments as a KC-135 Evaluator and Instructor Pilot for the Air Force Reserve. His experience includes tours at Vance Air Force Base, Altus Air Force Base, Tinker Air Force Base, and various deployed locations. He is a graduate of Combat Aircrew Tactics Studies.
Lt. Col. Milburn has supported homeland defense Operation Noble Eagle and deployed in support of Operations Northern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, Freedom Sentinel, and was DETCO for SOCOM KC-135 support to counterdrug operations. He has flown more than 400 combat hours. He is a command pilot with more that 5400 total flight hours and formerly served as the Chief of Standards and Evaluations for the 507th Operations Group and the Director of Operations for the 507th Operations Support Squadron at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
