Northern Edge 2015: Reserve, National Guard, active-duty units work together

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, ALASKA – U.S. Air Force Capt. Shawn R. Tucker, a Skiatook, Okla., native, currently a KC-135 Stratotanker pilot with the 465th Air Refueling Squadron, participates in Exercise Northern Edge 2015, June 18, 2015. Northern Edge 2015 is Alaska’s premier joint training exercise designed to practice operations, tactics, techniques and procedures as well as enhance interoperability among the services. Thousands of Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from active duty, reserve and National Guard units, including Tucker’s unit, the 507th Air Refueling Wing out of Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., are involved.
