507th Air Refueling Wing
Lieutenant Colonel Eric Eggers, an Air Force reservist with the 507th Air Refueling Wing, has received the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal. Eggers distinguished himself in the performance of outstanding service to the United States while assigned to the 507th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as well as implementing a Reliability Centered Maintenance T56 program directly resulting in a 2-point-3 million dollar cost avoidance to the United States Air Force. He also was selected to serve as Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Commander, where he supervised 115 personnel, managed over 720 million dollars in equipment and maintained operational control over aircraft generation. Furthermore, he commanded 63 activated maintenance reservists while deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM, to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.
