  • Uniform chages for 2PFDU, OCP go into effect

    JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii – Several uniform changes became mandatory for the Operational Camouflage Pattern and Two-Piece Flight Duty Uniform Sept. 1 for all Airmen.The changes for each uniform are detailed in Air Force Instruction 36-2903, Dress and Appearance of Air Force Personnel.

  • Air Force on schedule with new uniform issue timeline

    When Air Force officials announced last year they were adopting the Army OCP as the official utility uniform, they developed a three-year rollout timeline across the force for the entire changeover. Last week put them on target for issue to new recruits entering BMT.

    Air Force leaders announced the service will move to a single combat utility uniform, adopting the Operational Camouflage Pattern, or OCP, already in use by the Army and Airmen in combat zones and in certain jobs across the Air Force.
