  • IBM’s GRIT mobile app helps Veterans and their families transition

    Getting Results in Transition, or better known as GRIT, was developed in response to the growing concern about the rate of suicide among Veterans, especially during the transition from activity duty to civilian life. Social determinants, like health, employment, housing, social connectedness, and finance all play a large role in Veterans’ mental and physical health. Service members report that finding a job once leaving military service is their number one concern.

    Returning from the fight

    More than 30 members of the 507th Air Refueling Wing arrived home to happy families and unit leadership here Dec, 11 after a successful deployment in Southwest Asia providing aerial refueling supporting ongoing missions against terrorism.

Dawn Hardwick, 513th Maintenance Squadron along with 50 other members of Team Tinker, hold a huge U.S. flag during the national anthem at the opening of the Oklahoma City RedHawks military appreciation game on July 27. Sergeant Hardwick was also recognized during the game because she recently returned from a deployment to South West Asia.
