The summer adventure season is about to start, and there’s still time for Air Force youth to apply for more than 20 camps available at locations across the United States.

The 2018 Air Force Youth Program camps cover a wide variety of interests, including robotics, three leadership programs, and five space exploration and science programs. Sports camps include basketball, baseball, soccer, softball and volleyball.

Camps are open to dependents of active duty military assigned to, living or working on an Air Force led installation, Air Force retired military, Air Force APF and NAF civilian employees, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve.

The Air Force Services Activity sponsors the camps and funds lodging and meals. Travel costs are covered for the leadership summits only. Eligibility is based on dependency status, age and grade.

Applications for the leadership summits, aviation and space camps are due no later than May 11. All sports camp applications are due no later than May 18.
